Meet the Golf Course Staff

Avery Unruh
Golf Course Superintendent

Avery is currently in his fourth season with the Hillsboro Golf Course. He desires to make the golf course a beautiful place for it's local members and those that it attracts. Avery is currently studying online at Penn State University working toward a degree in Turfgrass Management. He hopes that this supplemental knowledge paired with his on-site experience will help him prepare the golf course for smooth operations and course playability.

Tournament Director & Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Tyler is currently in his second season with the Hillsboro Golf Course. He has recently taken on the role as our new Tournament Director with the hopes to grow our tournament program at the golf course. This also includes making improvements to the daily operations of the clubhouse.
