Golf Superintendent
The Golf Superintendent maintains the Hillsboro Municipal Golf Course, a 9-hole municipal golf course featuring zoysia fairways and bent grass greens, a clubhouse, and related facilities. Hillsboro Municipal Golf Course has over 120 annual members and is the home course for Tabor College and Hillsboro High School. The position is an FSLA exempt position with seasonal requirements that require working outside of normal business hours and flexibility in the off-season. Golf Superintendent is a department head level position that oversees one full-time assistant, part-time and seasonal employees, as well as volunteers. Strong communication and organizational skills are needed to be successful.
The hiring salary range is $45,000 to $50,000 depending on experience. This position is benefits eligible and includes medical and dental insurance, KPERS retirement, vacation, and sick leave as well as paid holidays.

Street Maintenance 1
The City of Hillsboro, Kansas seeks a qualified individual for an Street Maintenance 1 position in the City Street Department. Basic Duties
The Street Maintenance 1 position is an entry level position that trains with experienced staff to maintain city’s streets, stormwater system and public spaces. Duties include:
Assists with the construction and maintenance of city streets including sealing and patching
Installs, repairs and replaces road signs
Trims trees, cuts brush, removes limbs and mows as needed
Assists with storm water and drainage projects
Repairs and maintains department equipment to individuals ability
Performs street sweeping duties as needed
Provides snow and ice removal during inclement weather
Perform any duties deemed necessary or assigned
Salary: The salary range is between $16.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience. This position is benefits eligible and includes medical and dental insurance and KPERS retirement.
