Matt Stiles

Matt Stiles is an ICMA Credentialed Manager who started his public management career in 2008. He brings a wide variety of skills and experience to Hillsboro including an extensive background in local government management, utility management, strategic planning, and economic development. Before joining the City in 2020, Stiles spent 2 years at the Public Policy and Management Center at Wichita State University as a Program Manager and instructor for the Hugo Wall School. Stiles remains an instructor at the Hugo Wall School at WSU. Stiles served as the City Administrator in South Hutchinson, Kansas for eight years and Assistant City Manager in Bel Aire, Kansas three years. Matt has a Master's Degree in Public Administration with graduate certificates in City and County Management and Public Finance. Additionally Matt serves as a board member for many community organizations and statewide professional organizations.
