Tree Coupons Available Tree coupons may be redeemed for up to
$25.00 toward the purchase of an approved deciduous tree(s) to be planted
in the city of Hillsboro. A list of the approved trees titled “Preferred
Trees for South Central Kansas” is available free of charge in the
Hillsboro City Library. This list is published by the Kansas Urban Forestry
Council and can be found in the Hillsboro Tree Board literature rack located
in the City Hall mall, next to the library front door. The coupons can
be picked up at City Hall. There is a limit of one coupon per tree (two
coupons per household). Qualifying trees must be purchased from The Garden
Center (314 N. Cedar). This program is usually offered in the spring and
fall. |
