Peter Paul Loewen House The Peter Paul Loewen House, also known as the Hillsboro Adobe House, has been selected as one of the 24 finalists for the Kansas Sampler Foundation ”8 Wonders of Kansas Architecture.” The 8 Wonders of Kansas is a series of contests to help the public learn about the eight elements of rural culture: architecture, art, commerce, cuisine, customs, geography, history & people. To learn about the original 8 Wonders, go to 8wonders.org. The goal of these contests is to educate people about Kansas and to inspire exploring in the state. A public vote will determine the top eight. People are encouraged to vote online at 8wonders.org, call (620) 585-2374 for a ballot, pick up a ballot at the finalists sites (where available), or Hillsboro City Hall (620-947-3162). It is imperative that the ballot includes a name and address, and that eight boxes are checked. Voting will end at midnight on June 15th, and the
top eight will be announced on June 30th.
