ELECTRIC UTILITY RATES – EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2007
RESIDENTIAL RATES AND COMMERCIAL RATES
Monthly Rate:
1. $.0915 per KWH
Base Charge: $5.00 per month - In the event the same customer orders a
disconnection or reconnection of electric service at the same premises
within a period of twelve (12) months, the City shall collect as a reconnection
charge the sum of such minimum bills as would have accrued during the
period of disconnection.
RESIDENTIAL RATES OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS
Monthly Rate:
1. $.0965 per KWH for first 4,000 KWH
2. $.0915 per KWH for all over 4,000 KWH
Base Charge - $5.00 per month - In the event the same customer orders
a disconnection or reconnection of electric service at the same premises
within a period of twelve (12) months, the City shall collect as a reconnection
charge the sum of such minimum bills as would have accrued during period
of disconnection.
TEMPORARY SERVICE - Temporary service means use of electricity of temporary
purposes. Services connected for short periods of time, not to exceed
90 days.
Rate:
(1) $10.00 base charge per month
(2) $0.10 per KWH usage
STREET LIGHT ON PRIVATE PROPERTY - Any individual or business owner who
wishes to have a street light that benefits private property shall pay
a monthly charge as follows:

250 W Mercury Vapor $15.00
100 W High Pressure Sodium $12.00
250 W High Pressure Sodium $15.00
400 W High Pressure Sodium $20.00
