Hillsboro City Administrator Larry Paine is among a growing number of officials who use personal Internet Blogs to reach the public with information concerning local issues.

A Blog is a fairly simple web site that an individual can create to communicate their thoughts via words, images or video.

“I really like doing this,” Paine said. “It gives me a chance to be personal with the community readers rather than someone filling an important job down at City Hall.”
