Composting Site The City of Hillsboro provides a composting site for disposal of grass clippings, weeds, dead flowers, and corn stalks. These items are not to be placed in the household trash system, but can be disposed of at the compost site. The compost site is located at the south end of Wilson Street, next to the wastewater plant. Compost may be taken from the site. Signs at the site will inform the public which compost is ready for use. You can view a map to the composting site here |
