Message From The Chief We are fortunate to have outstanding and dedicated volunteers that serve on the Hillsboro Fire Department. It is my honor to serve with them. Collectively, our department’s current roster boasts over 212 years of experience. Volunteer firefighters are a special breed ….. they put themselves in situations that most people hope to never encounter. During major fires, and smaller calls alike, our firefighters respond quickly and conduct themselves with professionalism & ample regard for the public which they serve. The next time you meet a
volunteer firefighter on the street, just say “thank you”
and let them know that you appreciate what they do. |
