| Marion Co. Fire Chiefs Fundraiser Concert A fundraiser benefitting the Marion County Fire Chiefs’ Association will include three nights of concerts, in conjunction with the Marion County Fair. The concerts will feature country music recording artists Bucky Covington, T. Graham Brown & Kebo Cyrus. Covington has risen to become a nationally recognized entertainer after his success as a finalist on American Idol. His numerous hits include “I’ll Walk,” “A Different World,” “It’s Good to be Us,” and “American Friday Night.” Brown’s memorable hits include “The President,” “Stand Up for Love,” “As If You Didn’t Know,” “I’m Expecting Miracles,” and “Through the Eyes of a Child”. Cyrus toured with his brother, Billy Ray, in the 1980’s before striking out on his own. The national recording artist is known for his rocking and energetic performances. Local favorites, The Greenhorns, will open for Cyrus on July 29th. Cyrus will be the opening act for Brown on July 30 and the opener for Covington on July 31st. The Marion County Fire Chief’s Association is working with the Marion County Fair Association in the timing of this event to enhance the attendance at the county fair.
